Consett Park Bowling Club is a warm and welcoming club with a great mix of both bowling and social activity in convivial surroundings. The game of Bowls can be played by most ages and levels of playing experience and skill.
The club has a full and varied programme of outdoor inter-club matches, internal leagues, knockout competitions as well as social bowling from April to September each year. Through the winter months, September to March, we play Carpet Bowls in the clubhouse and have a team in the local league together with knockout competitions.
Training and coaching sessions are available, particularly for new members from our qualified and experienced coaches.
“This social sport is suitable for all levels of fitness because it is a gentle way to get active, the rules are simple and there is a social side to the game.” - as said by the British Heart Foundation.
Social events are run throughout the year e.g. coffee mornings, quiz nights and fund raising activities.
The club has its own bar and free Wi-Fi.
