Park Improvements

On 6th March 1925, The Consett Guardian reported on some recent improvements to the Park.

The second bowling green which is nearing completion

The pretty Consett Park has had some improvements made to it recently, one of these being a cottage for the park-keeper, and another the laying out by the Consett Iron Company, Ltd., of a second green for the many devotees of the summer pastime at the thriving town.
