Consett Park vs Darlington South Park

On 21st June 1929, the Consett Guardian reported on the annual match between Consett Park Bowling Club and Darlington South Park.

We have made arrangements with Darlington South Park Bowls Club to visit us on Friday 21st July 2023, as part of our centenary celebrations.

BOWLS. CONSETT PARK VERSUS DARLINGTON PARK. The annual match between the above teams took place on Saturday at Consett in ideal weather. Mr. R. Alsop welcomed the visitors on behalf of the Consett team, while Mr. F. Agar, chairman of the Darlington Park Bowls Club suitably responded. The match was eventually won by the visitors by eight shots after an exciting struggle. Scores:-
