The Retired Men's ForumThe Retired Men's Forum Rink bowled like Champions to win the hotly contested inter-departmental Rink Bowls Championship at Consett Park recently when they met the much fancied Foundry rink.The pensioners ean out 23 shots to 17 winners.Both teams are photographed with Mr Bob Atkinson - the Sports and Social Club Chairman. The respective teams comprised of Retired Men's Forum - J. Maddison, F. Bainbridge, F. Johnson, S. Page and J. McElrue (reserve).Foundry C, Pears, A. Taylor, G. White and R. Moss.
