W. Lowe went on to win the championship, and R. Wilson was runner up.
BOWLS.CONSETT PARK BOWLING CLUBThe club competition is nearly completed. The following players are left in after many close and well-played ties:- Messrs. E. Tindle, R. Wilson, M. Hobday, W. Lamb, J. Stockwell, and W. Lowe.It is proposed to play the final at 6-15 p.m. on Wednesday, the 12th September.The club entertain Malton Colliery officials on Saturday the 8th Sept. The game will start at 3-30 p.m. The list of selected players will be posted on the club notice-board in the Bowling Green pavilion.
