CONSETT BOWLS STRENGTH.A balance of £17 was reported at the annual meeting of the Consett Park Bowling Club, presided over by Mr R Alsop.The North West Durham League championship and C.I.C. competition cup were won last season, while club winners were:- Championship, H P Hornsby; rink competition, R Russell, R Mullens, J R Morgan, R W Gowland; jumbles, D Davison; play-through, W Gardner.Election of officers: President, E J George; chairman, R Alsop; treasurer, J Stockdale; secretary. J W Lake; assistant secretary, E Wills.
