Consett Park won the North West Durham League for the third year in succession.
December 1936 - Annual Meeting
There was a short report of the Club's 1936 Annual Meeting in the Newcastle Chronicle. It had been a good year, including winning the league. The adjacent columns were dedicated to hunting.

July 1939 - Consett Iron Company Challenge Cup
The competition took place on Consett Park's green, and was won by Crookhall Colliery.
November 1939 - Annual Meeting of the North-West Durham Bowls League
A team from Consett Park won the League rink cup, and two of Consett Park's committee were also on the N. W. Durham committee. On the same page was a report of Consett's football team's war-time match against Blyth Spartans.
