Consett Iron Company Challenge Cup

ON THE BOWLING GREENIn wretched weather North defeated Warwickshire in the Middleton Cup competition at York last week-end by 18 shots, and will now appear in the semi-final in London on July 22, for the eight time.The competition for the Consett Iron Co’s Challenge Cup was played on the Consett Park green. The winners were Crookhall Colliery, who won five games out of six and returned an aggregate of 125 shots to 85 shots.
